• Maintaining the actual conservation status of the brown bear meta/population through applying into the project area some of the best practices and demonstrative activities and promoting of these at national and European level;
   • To prevent the decline of brown the bear population, which happens due poaching, habituation and juvenile mortality. ;
   • To prevent and reduce conflicts between bears and local people. ;
   • Maintaining the actual conservation status of the target specie in the 15 Natura 2000 sites overlapped on the project area.
